Multiple plane waves exposure analysis

چکیده

INTRODUCTION With the increase of wireless communication networks, people ask more and more information on the impact of electromagnetic field on their health. The assessment of the exposure to electromagnetic waves is the key question. Most of investigations of numerical dosimetry studies deal with a single plane wave exposure [1] but there is a lack of information on multiple waves exposure. In reality, waves are coming from different directions and the phase's recombination induces fast fading that produces highly variable field in the space. In this paper we study the exposure to multiple plane waves with random amplitudes, phases and directions of arrival (DoA). For different distributions of these incident field parameters the normalized WBSAR (Whole Body Specific Absorption Rate) is analyzed. A surrogate model to assess the SAR in the case of multiple plane waves exposure is proposed in this study.
